Information We Collect

Extension (Local Storage Only)

• API Keys: Stored locally in your browser using Chrome's secure storage. Never transmitted to our servers.
• Preferences: Theme settings, custom prompts, and usage limits stored locally on your device.
• Selected Text: Sent directly to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). We never see or store this data.

Website (Optional Account)

• Email Address: Required only if you create an account for cloud sync or payment.
• Password: Hashed and stored securely by Supabase (our authentication provider).
• Custom Prompts: Stored in our database only if you enable cloud sync.
• Payment Information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI writing assistance using your chosen provider
• To sync custom prompts across devices (if you opt in)
• To process payments for lifetime licenses
• To send important service updates (no marketing emails)

Data Sharing

We share data only as follows:

• AI Providers: Your selected text is sent directly to your chosen provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) using YOUR API key. We are not a middleman.
• Supabase: Email and custom prompts (only if you create an account).
• Stripe: Payment processing (they handle all financial data).
• We do NOT: Sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Data Security

• API keys stored using Chrome's secure local storage API
• All data transmitted over HTTPS
• Passwords hashed using industry-standard bcrypt
• Database hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest

Your Rights

• Access: View your data anytime in the dashboard
• Delete: Remove your account and all associated data
• Export: Download your custom prompts
• Opt-out: Use the extension without creating an account

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session). No tracking or advertising cookies.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
